Bidding: Online bidding only. To place a bid, bidders enter their “maximum” bid and click the “Place Bid” button. If an online bidder fails to submit the down payment and complete the contract in the timeframe listed, the credit card on file will be charged the 10% down payment and buyer’s fee.

Buyer’s Premium: 6%

Buyer Premium Explanation: A 6% buyer fee will be added to the high bid to determine the contract price. Example- If the high bid is 10,000.00, 6% will be added to the high bid amount = 10,600.00 contract price.

Contract: Buyer(s) will be contacted by Doerr Auction at the conclusion of the auction to make an appointment to complete the contract and collect the down payment. Arrangements must be made to complete the contract (at Doerr Auction Center, 345 Porter Ave., Vergennes) by close of business the following day or within 24 hours of being notified by the auction service. Failure to complete contract will result in the credit card on file being charged the 10% down payment and buyer fee.

Closing: Closing to be within 60 days of the auction date. Buyer to pay customary closing costs.

Taxes: Taxes will be prorated as of closing date.
